Rachel Garb

Rachel Garb spent more than 30 years in Silicon Valley making technology easier to understand and use — including roles at AOL, TiVo, and nearly two decades at Google. Now retired, she devotes her time to personal projects, community service, travel, and recreation. Her first book, "Chatting with AI: What to Know Before You Start," debuted in 2026 as an Amazon #1 New Release. She holds a Master of Education from Harvard and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon. Rachel lives in Mountain View, California with her partner and occasional foster kittens.
