Daniel Gloyd is a professional designer specializing in the field of human experience design. He’s helped clients, including Toyota, Samsung, Ford, and McDonald's, embrace human-centered design for over 25 years.

As a thought leader in his field, Gloyd has focused his work on humanizing the technology-driven worlds we increasingly inhabit. He is dedicated to developing and sharing his principles of human connection in order to build warmth in our modern experiences — from interpersonal relationships to digital communities — prioritizing the interconnectedness we humans need in order to thrive.

After earning a master's degree from the pioneering design program at Carnegie Mellon University, Daniel went on to found the User Interface team at Samsung’s Los Angeles Design Lab. He left the LA Lab to become a partner and founding Vice President of Research at Gist Design, acquired by TrueFit Innovation in 2014.
