Darryl Adams

Director of Accessibility, Intel

As the Director of Accessibility at Intel, Darryl leads a team of experts who work at the intersection of technology and human experience to discover new ways for people with disabilities to work, interact, and thrive in the workplace. In his role at Intel, he has successfully implemented several accessibility initiatives and programs that have enhanced Intel's disability inclusion efforts and made computing and access to digital information more accessible for everyone.

Darryl has a unique perspective and passion for accessibility innovation, as he has been living with retinitis pigmentosa and partial deafness since his teenage years. These disabilities have challenged him to overcome obstacles through creative problem solving and to leverage technology as a tool for empowerment and independence. He has a master's degree in assistive technology studies and human services, and he hold multiple certifications in project management, research ethics, and accessible computing. He is also an active member of several professional and community organizations that promote accessibility and disability rights.
