Experience Design Leader
Hi, I am Amy Parness. Most recently, I was a strategic UX Leader for Growth at Cisco Meraki where I brought global teams together across the organization to solve complex problems, create revenue and design sophisticated user experiences. I have been a UX Director focused on Growth at top e-commerce agencies and led product design for start-ups to enterprise companies like Samsung, State Farm, Sony Ericsson, and Lucid Motors. I enjoy working with data to tell stories and uncover new opportunities. I started Sparkle Labs in 2005 to attract more people to STEM and hacking by designing more approachable electronics kits and curricula. Currently, I am creating data visualizations, consulting in AI transformation and growth, and doing community climate work.
I have a Masters from ITP, NYU's "engineering school for artists" and a Bachelors in International Relations and Communications. I have lived and worked in Japan, Argentina, and France.
