Renee Reid is a Staff UX Design Researcher at LinkedIn with 20 years of professional experience in various roles including Project Management, Customer Success, Sales and User Experience. She currently leads research on the Search and Discovery, Navigation and Trust &Privacy member experiences. In additional to being an impactful researcher, Renee also leads LinkedIn’s South Bay Employee Resource Group, BIG- the Black Inclusion Group, she is a Professional Mentor with TechWomen, a global initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and Renee also spends her time as a youth mentor with various organizations including the Boy and Girls Club of the Peninsula.
As a voice and activist for the importance of representation in the UX industry, Renee’s passions include inspiring and encouraging the next generation of women & minority professionals, as well as helping individuals make successful career pivots into UX.
