Mike Oren
Head of Design Research, Klaviyo
Mike Oren currently leads Product Research at Klaviyo. He spent about 1.5-2 years running the design team building our AI & Analytics experiences there before returning to research (a function I built here over 4 years ago) because the challenge of the pivot was an exciting one. He do have a technical background with a BA in computer science before getting my PhD in human-computer interaction and sociology, which may put me as a slight outlier in the field. I also teach at Illinois Tech’s Institute of Design (ID).
